I don't know if there is any positives in that considering the team got jacked up by BAD UNT team by 37 points.

I would think he is implying that he will now see lesser talented teams that SMU has a better chance at doing better.

Your post said that because he said he is happy to be done with the Big 12, you think the team will play better. My question is why him saying that makes you think the team will play better? If he had not said it would you not think the team would play better?

Wow, if you count TCU we've played/will play 4 ranked opponents in our first 5 games, including 2 top-10 teams. On the plus side, I guess no one can ding the football team for strength of schedule. Take that basketball program!!!!!!!
