Funny you ask because I've been told the head equipment guy is an *ss as well.

It is really sad just how toxic a good portion of this staff has been for years.

Honestly, and this is not just piling on, I truly believe this staff is one of the worst in all of D1 from top to bottom.

I've never seen a d-line actually decrease in strength (not sure about size, I'd love to compare last year's roster to this years) like this year. McCarthy on OL hasn't put on a pound since last year, and I don't remember the tackles getting this physically dominated, even early in the year against big 12 competition.

Don't mean to dog pile. Despite being a huge fan of Vic and being extremely annoyed when June let him go, from the times I've talked/worked with Mel he's seemed nice enough and knowledgeable enough. But you gotta admit, this is pretty funny...

i'm interested to learn who your son is, he sounds like quite the whiner. However i will say that Mel is definitely one of the least qualified people on the staff (that's saying something)

However I will agree that those who are disrespectful to the equipment guys are likely the ones that get sh*t on. Such as footballdad's kid.
