Lets not forget that Ryan split PG duties with Nick in 12-13. He's not incredible at it, but he was pretty competent for the most part.

I agree that Ryan can spot Nic some minutes, but he obviously can't be counted on to run the offense like Nic does, so it's important that Ryan is surrounded by other guys who can handle

You're right, but we are playing much tougher competition now than in 12-13. I still believe Sterling gets the backup PG minutes.

I think when Nic goes out we have no true PG or run "dual points"

We had PG problems last year when Nic went out out he game and Ryan played some point.

And that's why Sterling will be asked to help more when Nic is off the floor. Will be interesting to see this year's substitution patterns
