I'm borrowing a cup of "oh yeah!" from you. I've read the context of his offer list, but scratching my head.

I like the description of him, but I wonder if his offer is commitable right now or if they want to see him play once he comes back from his injury.

I disagree. Play the guys that deserve to play. Sterling was far better than Frazier for most of the season.

If we are losing top recruits because they are not confident that they can crack the SMU lineup, well then screw it,
I would rather take
the 3 star players that will compete over those players. I think most players and recruits would appreciate playing time being determined by performance, not by the Star rating.

What don't you agree about?

As for competition, most aau groomed, elite kids, feel they Deserve a spot immediately based on rank. I don't agree , but that's the culture

Sterling was a 4 star recruit and top 150 players. That is not a mickey mouse rating. If you want a bunch of 3 star recruits to prove some type of point and we will end up with a Doh roster. At least say a bunch of 4 star recruits or top 150 players not 3.

He was saying he disagreed with your statement that we should not have buried Keith behind Sterling. I also disagree with it. Do you really mean that you think Keith should have been playing over Sterling?

I thought Sterling had been a 3 star, but that's not the point. Coach Brown played the right guys, Sterling was/is the better player. And Yes Grant, that's what I meant.

Sterling was a high 3-star according to Rivals - #138 in the class. He had a very impressive offer list that included Memphis, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota and USC.

My statement read poorly. I was saying hell no w shouldn't have played Keith at the expense of sterling and team. His being buried on the bench did send a strong statement to locals, though.

The statement was if you don't play well enough you wont be on the court. That is the same statement they will hear at any quality program.

Keith knows he must work harder, he isn't a prima donna.

Got it. I did not think you could really have meant it the way I read it, and now I see what you meant.
