Moody Flooding??

Postby SMU15 » Thu Oct 02, 2014 5:16 pm

Don't know for sure, but I'm hearing people talk about it now and apparently there's a video circulating around of some flooding from the recent thunderstorm. Hopefully it's minimal and nowhere as bad as Pauley.

It's kind of ironic, the weekend Pauley flooded they had one of the top recruits in the country visiting. Today we have 5-star center Thomas on campus.....

I'm only 5 miles from campus and it didn't rain that much here.

I don't know what happened before noon, but the weather information I see on line reports an estimated 0.15 inch of rain in the last twenty-four hours for ZIP 75205 and 75225.

Sunny until about three. Then bad winds and a little rain in Lakewood. Lots of trees down. About 50% without power. Mine is still out 22 hours later.

This map is showing at least 1.5 inches, all of which occurred in about 20 minutes.
