Since you are still here, and I am glad you are BTW, please elaborate. No longer defending this program as a sunshiner? Not willing to put up with the negativity bound to flow on this board after a bad loss? or what?

Naaaahhh jt...just like when attorneys run out of people wanting to sue someone, they start sueing each other (to keep in practice I guess)...you doom and gloomers can go after each other. You know...who can be more negative than the next guy contest.

Speaking of attorneys, why don't you guys start a class action suit against the Board of Trustees. They should pay all of us back the money we have spent trying to prop up a program they have let die on the vine due to negligence on their part.

Fortunately, I had the foresight to see this coming and stopped giving money a long time ago. I would not be a good representative class plaintiff, my damage model is limited.

My point is not that we shouldn't have been contributing...it is that the Board of Trustees have let us all down in a big way...and they should pay for that.

If Turner basically controls the board doesn't he get the blame?

It is difficult to ascertain from a legal standpoint whether we could overcome the presumption of a pre-existing mental illness which arises from the mere fact that we are fans of SMU football. My instinct suggests we could not, and if not, it would bar likely bar recovery entirely. I'm going to have to decline representation at this time.

It was already ruled that SMU fans lack standing against the NCAA, same outcome here.
