Mizzou-UConn home and home series

I found this interesting -- for all of the talk about P5 teams moving away from scheduling G5 schools on the road, Mizzou just scheduled one with UConn of all teams. This seems odd to me -- I can't imagine Hartford is a place where Mizzou has a big alumni base, it's certainly not a place where Mizzou recruits often, and it's not a particularly fun trip for your fans to make. Seems like we would make a lot more sense for them

These are the kind of P5 series we should try to schedule in the future...I think Mizzou would draw well in Dallas (lots of MU alums here) and those SEC schools need a way to fill those four OOC games.

And the AAC does seem to be getting a different kind of treatment from the P5's compared to the other 4 conferences. They perceive that we are closer to them than the other 4 which is good for the conference.

So in 2018 we'll have UNT, Baylor, and Michigan. Is TCU also on the schedule?

I thought we had Baylor in '15 & '16 to wrap up that series. For '18, I think we have UNT, TCU & Michigan so are still looking for a 4th non-conference game
