For someone who spends an awful lot of time on an SMU Football message board, you seem to have an intense hatred of the university and its alumni. Haha, "intense hatred" huh? A little more humility and self reflection would probably be a good start to get the university headed in the right direction. Those Dallas fans that are desperately needed for SMU to ever catch the likes of Baylor or TCU might also concur.

I have never noticed a lot of humility and self reflection among the Bears or the Frogs. Are you from Texas?

Our football team has been serving us a double dose of humility for years. We are not going to act like we are less than we are academically, and certainly not to please someone who is probably going to move to something else when his graduates (or doesn't) based on countless negative posts.
The rankings that matter have us right up there with UT, and RIce where we belong.

Meh, I wouldn't worry about it. For the last two decades I've been in the New York/London/LA business communities across a few industries: finance, entertainment and advertising/marketing. Of the Texas schools I run across at the top of the game, I see UT grads the most (unfortunately by far), then there's a few Mustangs (I'd always like to see more), a few Rice owls and I know an Aggie. Oh, and a Houston cougar or two, believe it or not. But I've never come across a Frog or a Bear in my travels.

I didn't even know Baylor had a MBA program. Can't say I've met a single person that went there.

Probably because they were up in the Executive Dining room being served, while you were down at Subway in the Food Court.

Woohoo! Congrats??? There seems to be a thread every other week about school rankings on this site. Same old same old....

The froggie sites would have an academic thread every other week also if they had anything to brag about in that area.
Of course, it could be that they are slightly distracted by the annoyance of a good football team.

It's not stellar, and they're "growing" via satellite programs since nobody wants to step foot in the dump that is Waco. That said, their degree is so-so but their alumni network works well.

Executive dining room? What is this, the 1950's? Please. Sadly, I don't see enough Texans of any stripe (okay, more UT's than I'd like, but still relatively few Texans)- many more Ivy leaguers, UVA, Gtown, Duke, USC, ND and Michigan.
