I can't fault Patterson for going for it there. TCU was on the ropes and their defense was flat out exhausted. If you get the first down you give yourself a chance to get out with the win. It should've been PI but they didn't get the call. If you want a criticism its the previous two drives when TCU refused to run the football and gave Baylor the ball back with tons of time to score.
