SEC and the Big 12 are the two best conferences, far and away above any of the others. Pac 12 below those two, and then the ACC, Big 10, and American are hanging out below that.
The team speed of the Ole Miss defense is outstanding. Tons of players who fly to the ball. They would be able to slow down any of the big 12 offenses. That said, don't forget that A&M gave them two TDs during the game, that allowed Miss to blow it open.
I'll agree to not forget that Aggy gave Ole Miss those two scores (not really - Cody Prewitt earned his by going 76 yards for a touchdown after peeling off in coverage and knowing exactly where the ball would go on an overthrown pass) if you'll also agree to not forget that, in reality, Ole Miss could have named their score if they hadn't basically gone completely conservative mid way through the 3rd quarter with a 28-7 lead.
While I was yelling at the TV to stay aggressive and try to get more points, it makes sense to play a little safer and not risk getting your QB hurt, etc with a 21 point lead against a team that you know you can score on quickly if you need to.
