I still do get a kick when they are running the ticker line of other scores on the jumbotron and they post the score of our game.

The Longhorn guy was a temp for one game. The announcer does a good job now. Same guy that does the Cowboys.

The game day presentations year in year out are awful and beyond embarrassing. It is on the level of junior high games. The high school games out here game day presentation puts SMU to shame. It is not fancy but they don't make the stupid, ignorant and embarrasing mistakes like SMU.
SID, why does SMU not care? If they did this would not be happening every year.

I'm not sure if this was shown or heard by the TV audience. If it was I was channel surfing when it happened.

As a gaffe, an omission, a bad thing, it ranks with a coaching staff that did not recruit and a HC with the ASU exercize on his resume. Towards the end it was often suggested that JJ should resign in shame.

If this happened as described then the person responsible should resign before he is discharged by his boss. The firing should take place if there is no resignation.

Come on now. Firing for a video board error? Is it embarrassing? Yes? Was it on TV? I highly doubt it.

Put it in perspective. There were probably 6,000 people in the stadium...3,000 weren't paying attention and another 2,000 probably didn't know any different.

It was probably done by some intern or volunteer.

I disagree with fifty. Whoever put together that pro football player presentation should be canned. That was gross, gross negligence and cannot excused. Let him find another job.
