He's with ESPN now..

Why not?
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

He is waiting for Arkansas, and is getting plenty of money to wait.

Yeah right  Never in a million years. That's like asking Brad Pitt to make out with Bea Arthur.

That probably makes for a more vile image than Dooby's Kathy Bates avatar.

Butch Davis would be wonderful.

That Hurricane Team that won the Championship a few years back was basically all his players.

He has lived in Dallas and probably has fond memories of Dallas.

I doubt he would come, but I wonder if he would for a million dollars a year?

Ya know for a million a year it may be worth it to him.

At SMU all he would have to do for a couple years is win 6 games and he would have a happy captive audience.

At a million a year expectations would obviously be higher, but not that high.

Hell we are all so beaten down that I betcha we would be as happy as can be if we had six wins and were going to ANY Bowl!

Worth looking into.

a million a year doesn't even get you a call back.

"Pitt did not discuss Wannstedt’s contract terms, but he is believed to have signed a five-year contract worth at least $800,000 per season....."
