The Magic Number is...

UAB: now 1-5
ECU: maybe 2-5 (gets a stay from the L's)
TU: now 2-6
Rice: now 2-7 (cannot defend the Option)
UH: now 2-8 (you are put on the chargrill)
UTEP: now 2-9 (you are Phired!).

I say, 8 L's and he's gone.

if u want to jump on someone, let's go get the board & turner -
they both created this mess along with pye & copeland -

remember what coach bennett said (along with everyone else in the country), don't take the SMU job b/c its a no-win, setup for failure type position -

if u remember the newspaper articles @ that time, all his friends & other coaches in the profession advised him NOT TO TAKE IT b/c its a no-win situation -

same thing is going to happen to any other coach u put into that position until u get rid of the board or they change their tune -

u & everyone else on this board quit wasting your one little brain cell worrying about something that u can't change until they change!!!

How many times do you think people have done that already...It's not going to help anymore. It's obvious after 3 years of people e-mailing him that it isn't going to help the process that we're wanting.

turner has authority to make changes or influence change. that hasn't been top on his priority list, and for the athletic department that is not good.

You are not in the loop, you don't know that. There is a process, and a process of waiting as well to see if this experiment will work.

I still think Copeland should go, maybe we give Phil a little more time, but someone has to come in and make this an attractive job again.
