Any chance we see some type of new offensive scheme like running the hidden ball trick every play or something? Can't do any worse... Have we tried any trick plays this year? I know we can't execute our normal offense so why not try some ridiculous trick plays?

How about just starting Davis and give him some plays that work to his abilities!

Nah......makes too much sense, too much work for these lame duck coaches.
Although it is true that Davis has been getting a lot more reps this week. Only problem is, nothing really going to change if they just throw him in June's 4 wide shotgun to throw quick outside 3 yard patterns all day.

Hopefully, there is enough sense to know that with Davis not being as accurate, the best option is to spread the field, run a lot of zone read that we put in for Gilbert, and focus on the deep/medium route to open up space.

For the first time in a very long time, I haven't scheduled my day around an SMU football game on a day they are playing. I might watch the first part of it, see how it goes . . . lame I know . . .

I am doing volunteer work this morning. I usually beg off when there is an early game but this time I am taping it and will start catching up about 12:30. Should be able to see it live most of the 2nd half.

bring out the option, per Mike Ford/Lance transition. Yeah, I know, you have to have the horses, but man was that a shock to the SWC after the Houston game
