KXAS Channel 5's 'Play of the Week' - Fumbles!

I sent the following email to Derek Castillo at KXAS-TV Ch. 5 about the 'Play of the Week' tonight:

Derek:

I was disappointed that you did not show the SMU v UAB last-second win as its 'Play of the Week' on Sunday night. It broke SMU's 14-road game losing streak and it was a MAJOR upset of a highly favored Conf. USA opponent. But instead, you show a referee getting punched in an NFL game? 15-yard penalty on you.

Here's his reply:

I was on the phone tonight trying to get the video from Birmingham. I was hoping to make it our Play of the Week. They were unable to send us the highlights, their satellite was down! I even tried calling some of the other smaller markets in Alabama (Montgomery, Mobile, etc)... nothing! Sorry to disappoint you... I'll take the 15-yarder!

MM65, Thanks for sending the e-mail to Derek. I, too, was disappointed not to see Channel 5 mentioning SMU; George Michael didn't mention us, either (he used to back in 'the day'). Thanks, too, for posting his reponse.
