Beas has been irritating lately but that is funny.

the little turd probably knows he won't be a cowgirl next year and is glad to embarrass JJ any way he can.

redpony, the "little turd" has made a reasonable start to a career in the NFL...can't really understand the vitriol against him, short of reaction to CB's response to June leaving. Cole must be lumped in with Eric Dickerson in that case. Decent company, if you have to keep it.

I am generally pretty glad when an SMU athlete has any degree of success...unless there is a particular personal reason, I like the fact that we now have some that play on Sunday. I do have to question the wisdom of CB in photobombing the two folks that hold much of your future success in their hands, no matter the humor that it imparts. Maybe we should offer a course in the B-school on "Appropriate Business Relationships With Employers", or some such.

p-81, His response about our university has totally turned me against him. BTW- a comparison with ED is hardly valid even though they both submarined the school. ED has done a lot for the school as opposed to CB, who had done nothing. Besides, on the fball field there is no comparison between the abilities of the two.

I thought his photobomb was totally out of place and shows the lack of character and common sense that he has.

I haven't given up on Beasley yet. He was reactionary to say the least in coming to the defense of his old college coach. Give it some time and he might come around on that. As far as I am concerned he is still part of the Mustang family. I figure we put up with antics from family members that we would not normally put up from others. Just my take.

you nailed it. i was a huge cole fan til the post-june jones comments and the twitter fumble tantrum. but i'm happy to give him a second chance. maybe the right new head coach tries to roll out the red carpet to alumni of the program and we all live happily ever after. dont take the impulsive reactions of a 25-year old and carve them in stone.

My son-in-law coached Beasley in middle school. He said that he was "a smart a** little P*ick". Apparently hasn't grown up
yet.

Jerry is a marketing guru that loves any publicity so Beasley turning a picture with him and the commish into a bleacher report story is a win in jones book

Let's not forget that Beas is a 24-year-old football player. . .not a professional diplomat. I wish he hadn't said what he did about SMU, but I'm not willing to write him off for just that. Plus, I can't say that he doesn't have a point. After the TCU win in 2011, when those guys ran out to a half-full stadium for UCF, I bet a lot of them figured the SMU community wouldn't ever get behind them.
