It's Scout Day and Kids' Day at Ford this Saturday. Lots of representatives of the Boy Scouts of America should be in the stands.
Also, it's Kids' Day. ALL KIDS GET FREE TICKETS (13 and under)!!! Adult tickets are just $5 for the game!
Get your family and friends to Ford this Saturday! There's no reason why we shouldn't have a great showing from the Mustang Nation against ECU!
I'm now bringing 3 guests!
Attendance prediction: 22,000

I was previously scheduled to go to both the Baylor and Tulane games, but Katrina and Rita threw a wrench in things. And, frankly, I was kind of glad after the pitiful performances of our Mustangs. In fact, I canceled any plans to attend a game this season after Marshall.
However, the win over UAB has instilled new hope in me for this team, so my 3-year-old son and I are making the 6-hour drive to Dallas this weekend for the game. See what winning will do?
Geaux MUSTANGS! Geaux Tigers!

Note to all--never schedule a wedding during football season, no matter what your sweety says. I have one of those I have to go to this weekend but I will be at the game for hopefully about a half before I have to leave.

My oldest daughter lives in Llano and tells me a bus load of kids is going from there. Glad they are reaching out to kids from around the State.

I think it would be more appropriate to tell the wedding party you think you can be there by the reception if the game does not go into OT. (Exception....it is your wedding and your bride is a nonunderstanding fox)

Nacho: if it's not your best friend's wedding, your daughter's or son's wedding or your own, tell 'em: "See ya!"
No self-respecting Texan would schedule a wedding during football season! BornRed&Blue and I *specifically* scheduled our wedding in January AFTER all college football games were over last year! We had 300 guests.

It's my niece who graduated from TCU. Figures. My wife would kill me if I didn't go. Do they still make transistor radios? I could listen to second half during the ceremony.

A Froggie? Hey...she's not blood. Stay for the whole game! Tell your wife you had car trouble. The Mustang Nation will vouch for you!
Try Wal-Mart or RadioShack for that radio.

or you could use the 21st century of the transistor radio: BLACKBERRY. i had a non sports fan friend in NY this weekend from SF and we were at a movie saturday night so i kept checking my crackberry during the movie for SMU and Astros updates, annoying the 'congregation', i'm sure. i wanted to shout out "do you people even understand what just happened?"

The Big Lots has little radios with ear plugs. My wife and I were at a friend of hers watching the A$M game. I sat there with one ear peice in.
By the end of our game they made me pull out the ear plug so everyone could hear the SMU game. The Aggies got killed and our game was tight.
Go Ponys
Big Lots for $5.00
Catching the game - Priceless.

My wedding is on November 5.. homecoming.. oops.
Wedding was planned before football schedule was out.. so not my fault really.
It's an evening wedding.. so might be able to make it for a little while since it's a 2pm kickoff.
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.
