Was rooting pretty hard for the whities (wilfong and dunleavy) to get a basket in blowout time. Great warmup for Gonzaga and gave everyone some solid playing time.

tough crowd on this thread-I thought we looked sharp for first game. Until close to the end we were hitting about 64% and held Lamar to about 25%. Hit our free throws too. Great passing-tough defense. We weren't very physical inside and that's about my only complaint

Tough to gauge because Lamar is awful, but I felt we performed as we should. Perhaps better than expected given that MK wasn't playing. Well see what we're really made of Monday.

Obviously I wish Markus was eligible, but Hoopmanx looks like a genius again by talking up how Ben Moore would step up. He and Nic are in a tight race for my favorite player.

Ben did a good job but this was against Lamar and was a tune up game. Let's hope he does as well against Gonzaga where they have some good bigs. I am rooting for him.

Keith really has to find a way to calm down, lot of bad decisions.
Hope Sterling can get in to the flow vs Gonzaga.

Edit: Actually after looking at box score, although Sterling only had 2 shots, he was very effective,
4 reb, 4 assists, 2 steals, no turnovers in only 18 minutes
