Beat Sac State 104-58 last night. Nice drumming.

Anyone really familiar with them? Strengths/Weaknesses?

Expectations? I am thinking we will probably lose by 10-12 or so.

Here is a decent writeup, couldn't find a line on the game.

Arvydas Sabonis' son is a 6' 10" freshman forward who had a good first game for them.

You all can come here as well. I'll be the only one on the cul-de-sac with the living room lights on at 11.

I will be in bed so come in quietly so as not to disturb the dogs. Help yourself to the fridge, and turn out the lights when you leave.

The Austin PonyFan Man Cave is almost set up and complete. Mini bar should be here next week. Now, of course, I have to get a TV to go up there.

Really looking forward to the game!

I'd really appreciate it if one or more of you would stop by http://guboards.spokesmanreview.com/forumdisplay.php?2-Men-s-Basketball to give Zag fans a heads up on what to expect from your team, players to watch for, etc.

Everybody here is loving this home and home as well. Two really tough places to win.

This will be a very tough early test for the Mustangs who will be without their second leading scorer/ best rebounder and are still in the process of fitting new parts into the mix. Things went well on Friday night against a much less skilled Lamar team but this match- up, followed by a road game in Hoosierville will give us a good indication of what we can expect over the course of the season.

bring it!

They are stacked deep with 2 7"1 centers and 2 6"10 PF's....this is a legitimate NCAA Elite 8 or Final 4 team we go play in Spokane. Only allotted out 50 tickets to SMU in a sold out 6,000 seat coliseum, but should actually have 4 times that many SMU fans there .....lol

Push the ball up the floor with the athleticism we have and make them play on their heals...should be a good game to watch strategically. If SMU couldn't dominate on the boards on Friday night vs. a team with no one over 6'5, they better be ready to board in this game with a much taller and deeper team.

How is their perimeter defense? I'm curious what Nic Moore will face alone trying to bring the ball up the court. It's sad that our biggest weakness again this year is the lack of backup PG. On the road against pressure defenses, that is usually magnified.
I miss Troy Matthews.
