Will anybody come to watch this disaster play UH?
I honestly don't think we can even money whip a decent coach to take this on.

JJ burned it to the ground.

F Steve Orsini for extending him without a very low buyout.

F Lisa Love for coming to her senses and not hiring JJ 3 years ago.

What kind of fool am I to keep buying tickets through all these years of absolute ineptitude.

Cavan - joke
Bennett - joke
JJ - joke

No. No one will show up. There will be about 2,500 in the stands at kickoff and less than 1,000 by halftime.

I'm starting to wonder about the futility of this program. This thing is just so rotten to the core. Attendance, coaching, recruiting, execution..... All of it is just ROTTEN.

Maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow or in a few days....but I just don't know. If the next coach isn't able to generate some semblance of a respectable program, I think we should shut it down. Our alumni and fans have just been zapped of any sort of hope.

Bring on basketball. I think football is about to go the way of the dodo. And what a shame.

I have been an Smu fan since Doak Walker and a season ticket holder since the 70s. If our next coaching hire does not pull this wreck off the reef, I am through with Mustang football.
Long live Inez Perez!

No, you don't. I didn't buy football tickets this year and I still have my basketball tix.

I'm with you Arkpony.
I'm completely out of gas with this program. Just exhausted.

I knew this year would be bad - picked us to be 2-10- but blow out losses? Absolute complete ineptitude? No, I didn't expect that. I thought we had some talent and at least a bit of pride to get us to a few wins. I also didn't see us getting COMPLETELY BLOWN OUT BY UNT!
No, as bad as I thought it would be I didn't think we had regressed all the way to the Bennett days.
So I'm sure I'll buy my 2 tickets like I do every year, make my donation but I won't go to the games. I just can't take it.
I really can't.
I can't sit there with my head in my hands watching ineptitude. I'm no longer young enough to still have the hope that comes with youth.
