I think so many of us have just followed the lead of our administration, CoC, and leaders...
We've lost the stomach for the fight.

Re: OFFICIAL SMU-USF GAME THREAD
I live in Arkansas. It costs me $400-500 to attend one game. I can no longer justify this expense to see this sham of a football program.
Long live Inez Perez!

Re: OFFICIAL SMU-USF GAME THREAD
I think its time for an honest conversation about the future of what we are doing.
This will be our second winless season in 11 years.
This will be our 18th season in the past 25 years of four wins or fewer.
The program has completely zapped the alumni and fans to the point of total embarrassment from an attendance perspective. These games are no longer fun for anyone.
I want to believe there is a way out. I want to believe this isn't as futile as it currently appears to be. But I just don't know anymore.
I will say this. After seeing the crowd tonight I'd honestly rather not have a program than one like this. If you take away the TCU and A&M crowds our average attendance for the season would be around 6,000. That is not a D1A program.
It might be time to just let it go. We tried. We failed. Move on. Be Georgetown Southwest.

We didn't deserve any better attendance tonight than what we got.
I wish I had stayed home. Doubt I will make the same mistake for UH game.

These schools weren't always so bad!
I went to CU for grad school. 20 in a row now.
Was def hoping for a Pony win today. Rather a one win team play my Coogs than a winless one.

Before complaining about $3 million for the SMU staff realize that a program like Alabama has 29 administrative football staff employees dedicated entirely to scouting, communications, alum relations/money, correspondence with recruits, video break down of high school games, preparation for forthcoming college games...etc. This is in addition to all football coaching staff, training staff, medical staff, graduate assistants, nutrition staff and coaching administrative support staff.

and this should thrill RGT. He is now much closer to shutting down the fball program. It is so obvious that his major interest is fountains and librarys and not the least in our sports programs. His concept of mediocrity is even a far cry from what we have seen this season. Thank you RGT and CofC for keeping tiki to make sure we would suck for another year.

So what has been your contribution to the problem? Snarky post on a website? Something to be proud of for sure.

unless you are one of the CoC than I suspect that my contribution has been about the same as yours. Only difference is that I have been an avid fan and alum for over 50+ years. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. And believe me this is friggin ugly and the blame should start at the top.
RGT has been here for 20+ years and for an extended period did nothing to build a top level fball program.

Wow, that's amazing. Thought you were just another one of these young jealous whiners on the board that has never played football. But no, actually a 70ish angry old man that has nothing better to do than spew hatred on an internet board. Really pathetic, should take a long hard look in the mirror grandpa.
