I'm not one to brag, mainly because I don't have much to brag about.
But I want to brag for a minute.
My awesome wife completed the NY Marathon yesterday in 4:22:01 in extremely windy conditions. It was a pretty cool event. 50,000 runners. The pros were about five minutes off their target pace due to the conditions. Mrs. Junior finished 12 minutes behind her ideal goal of 4:10:00.
Anyway, just wanted to brag on her for a minute. Carry on.

Re: NY Marathon
Nice but hardly worth a brag. I had a wife that left me going a lot faster, went a lot farther and at the same time carried all my belongings with her.
Just kidding, kudos to the young lady.

good for her. I did the NYM twice and what an experience. there are millions of people cheering non stop for hours. when you finish it's an almost indescribable feeling. FYI the majority of runners in USA marathons and half marathons are women. so much for the weaker sex myth.
