Hudspeth would likely be a good choice. I wonder who Michigan will go after. Doubt if they will get Harbaugh. Wonder if they would go after fatterson. I would love to see him move on from froggie-land.

I sure hope not. Check his W-L record- not very impressive.

Would Muschamp think about us?

That might be true but he might have learned from his mistakes and be a much better HC because of it.

Winning in the sec is different then anywhere else. He would bring an intact staff with Texas roots, and he only has to beat AAC teams. Not usually for the retreads, but this one might be one to think about.

One coach who definitely learned from experience is Pete Carroll. Couldn't make it with the Patriots or the Jets but goes to USC and does great and goes to the Seahawks and wins a Super Bowl. Not saying that Muschamp will be a winner if he has another HC gig but his odds might have improved since he will know some of the pitfalls.

He struggle with offense in the years he was there. Almost had a new OC every year. Probably not the best fit imo.

I bet his won loss record would have been a little better had Florida been playing in the AAC.

As far as Patterson, I really do not want the TCU job open until ours is filled.

And if he had coached UAB n the SEC his record would have been worse but his offenses struggled with all the talent that he inherited from Urban Myer.

I agree. I am just saying you cannot base a decision for wanting him at SMU based on his W-L record. I would take Arkansas' coach in a second because he knows how to build a program and his record has not been good, yet.

All that said I do really have any thoughts on him one way or another.

What a switch Muschamp would be from Tiki. I thought Muschamp was going to blow a gasket on the sidelines at times. Tiki not so much.

I here you. But what evidence do you have that Bielema knows how to build a program? He has won 1 SEC game in 2 years. For those who like a run game he is running that type of offense. The only thing we know for sure is that he hates no huddle offenses.
