Re: E SandersSadly, Sanders may have more offensive yardage and TD's in the past month than we will have all season.
On a positive note....nevermind.

Re: E SandersE-man made some outstanding catches today. IMO he is a real asset for Payton and the Broncos.

Re: E SandersJust took the worst hit I have ever seen
Re: E Sanders
That looked awful. Thankfully the DB did not lead with his head or hit Sanders in the head.

Re: E SandersLooked like a legal hit but the Rams were penalized 15 yards for it. Lousy call by ref. I think that some penalties such as hits like this and pass interference, should be included in challenges that are reviewable since there is a high level of referee judgment in the call and they can be game changing. Pass interference should especially be challengeable because the penalty yardage in the NFL can be half the length of the field. If the penalty is that big, than it should have to withstand a video review. JMHO
Re: E SandersIf you reviewed PI almost all passes would be reviewed, someone would always disagree and games would be 8 hours long. Right or wrong there is just no way that could be done.

Re: E Sanders
That is why you include it as a challengeable play for the HC to be able to throw a flag!
Re: E SandersIMO that should have been a foul regardless.
Re: E SandersIt looked to me like he was a 'defenseless receiver' and hence that should have been a penalty.
Re: E SandersI thought it was a clean hit. Viscous one though. He hit him right when the ball got there. How are you supposed to break up a pass if you can't hit the receiver?
Re: E SandersI guess the NFL will have to become a "flag" football league to stay in business in the future. Can't afford to have anybody hit too hard! Too many kids growing up given "participation" trophies leading to a complete change in the attitude towards the game. The "pussifying" of America? Football would never have gotten a start if the same attitude existed back at the turn of the nineteenth century. Can you imagine, they used to play without facemasks and the pads were a fraction of what they are today?
