There aren’t too many more hostile environments in the country than the one that Nic Moore and SMU will face in Spokane -- and Larry Brown’s Mustangs will be without big man Markus Kennedy (academics). That’s not good news against a Zags frontline that includes mammoth 7-footer Przemek Karnowski, skilled big man Kyle Wiltjer and talented frosh Domantas Sabonis. The Zags also have a veteran backcourt of Kevin Pangos and Gary Bell, which usually bodes well early in the season.

I think SMU will have to shoot well and get out on the break to win. Somehow our bigs will need to stay out of foul trouble, and while I hope it doesn't happen I don't see it happening. We will have to go small at some point in the game with Martin or Brown at the 4 and press and run.
