It's ugly, but tis one game

This one was penciled in as a loss. Sure we wanted a better showing, but this was not unexpected.

Get ready for IU.

They way we lost was unexpected. SMU was in all 37 games last year. They signs of not rebounding well we there during the Lamar game. WE only out rebounded a bad Lamar team by 3. There is a reason to be concerned.

And despite everything happening with Indiana, that ain't exactly a rehab game for a team that just got walloped at Gonzaga.....

The way we lost was unexpected. If we had lost by 5, it would have been looked upon favorably by the committe. Instead, this will hurt our chances.

Yep. The outcome was expected. Not the ugly game. Sloppy play under the basket, #4 inexplicably left wide open, stupid fouls.

This will have zero impact in the committee gonzaga will likely be a 3 seed or higher come tournament time. Blow outs on the road happen sometimes. Florida just lost to an unranked miami team at home the is a bigger deal.

That your opinion and only an opinion. We have to play better. We beat the national champions twice last year and were in every game. We were not in this game.

It's an opponent based and reasonable understanding and years if following how the committee selects teams. Ask your self is one game enough to convince you that wel will not be competing for a confernce championship? If you are competetig for a conference championship what does that mean as far as what are win loss record will have to be? If we win 26+ games and one of losses is to gonzaga on the road the committee will not care at all period.

If we win other games against high caliber opponents it may not. We don't need to lay an egg against Indiana.

It's was too early to have any indication of what this means. My GUESS is it will be neutral as they'll view it as a very early season loss, on the road, against a legit top 10 team, without one our best players.

Beat Indiana!!!
