Attendance for EWU?

If there is a significant dip in attendance for this game, I'm going to have to start saying even worse things about SMU fans and Dallas-area fans in general. And my current thoughts on those fan bases aren't exactly positive...

That said, I think it'll be like Lamar. Near sellout, but pockets of empty seats to be found.

Wednesday is the game I wonder about the most. The games right before Thanksgiving have historically been even worse than usual in my experience. It could really go either way...

Guessing 3500 on Wednesday - maybe less if we lose on Tuesday. Very few students in attendance.

Scheduling a no-name team on a holiday travel day (following the Arky game) set this up to be a stinker attendance wise. We could 5-0 and I'm not sure it would have mattered.

I think attendance will be good. It won't be the same atmosphere as when UConn or Memphis comes to town, but it will still be WAY, WAY better than what an SMU/EWU game at Moody would have looked like 2 years ago.

Bear in mind that "Moody Magic" last year did not include the non-conference patsy games at the beginning of the season. A little tougher to rally a huge, raucous crowd for these games. But I think Arky will be awesome. Oh, and BTW, I think we win that game!

tonight will be good - Tuesday will be good. Wed might be tougher - but i will go ahead and bet that there are more students wed then you might think. many don't go back - and we have at least a couple hundred within easy drive of Moody that care about basketball now.
