Volleyball: SMU vs. UConn/Temple

Postby DanFreibergerForHeisman » Wed Nov 19, 2014 8:36 pm

The Mustangs (22-6, 11-5) start a three-game stretch at home this weekend against UConn Friday night and Temple Sunday afternoon.

SMU is fighting to stay in contention in The American, and every win is crucial for any chance at a potential at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

UConn (10-17, 3-13) has struggled this season, and is currently near the bottom of the conference standings.

Temple (22-6, 13-3), on the other hand, is having a great season and are currently in second place in The American. SMU is in a tie for third.

SMU will recognize the three seniors (Caroline Young, Julianne Scheidler, and Carla Armstrong) after the match Sunday.
