we cannot control what the school does, but we CAN control what we do as individual ticket holders. I would NEVER sell my tickets to the opposing fans.

I apologize in advance for breaking the cardinal rule

Postby smusic 00 » Mon Nov 24, 2014 1:00 am

We CAN control what the school does. So why aren't you all mad that schools profit from allowing visiting fans to sit in traditionally 'home' supporters sections? Why should an individual be obliged to discriminate towards their 'customers' when the sponsoring institution is under no such obligation?

It'll be interesting to see how many people are sitting in the "100" sections across the court from the students and benches who will be cheering for the Hogs.

My best friend is an Arkansas grad and I specifically told him I was NOT inviting him.

We only have 7,000 seats in Moody, so it is our duty to prevent opposing fans from taking over. If you want to bring your rival "buddies" bring them to Ford with you...we have enough seats that need filling there

Difference is that Moody is sold out. No way the opposition out mans us unless over 3500 ticket holders sell to the opposition. In Ford, if I give my 2 to an opposing fan we are already close to being outnumbered.

Now if they start calling the Hogs - that's another matter.

Oh, you can be very sure that at some point they will call the Hogs. Prepare yourself for it and react appropriately!

If you ever find out a fan sitting next to you sells his tickets to opposing fans.

Get there early and make sure to spill some beer and soft drinks on the seats. Then throw some popcorn on the sticky mess on the floor.
Just send 'da money.

there are 2 seats next to me that are a revolving door of new people for every game. some are for smu. some aren't. it's very strange. i'm sure hog fans will occupy the seats tuesday.

Apologize to whoever sits next to these guys. When I met for the exchange, it was exactly what I had feared.

Again - sorry section 201...

We're in Sec 201, I hope you put them next to the jerk who is at the end of row 10 and row 11 and berates us for getting up once a half to get a beer. That guy sucks.

Lack of loyalty. (Plus, some folks just don't get it)
