I have a friend that coaches in the acc and he said it was an amazing get for smu.

A bunch. as Coordinator he focuses on QB. Last 3 have been 1 five Star and 2 Four Stars. His offense draws recruits like flies which is why Clemson is ranked No. 3 Nationally on Rivals. I looked this up the other days and I believe they have been Top 12 or 14 Nationally every year he has been there. Clemson is an ACC team recruiting at an SEC level. They understand the importance of recruiting-he understands what it will take

I hope its Morris and I hope nothing stops the deal (if he is the choice). I really like his ties to Texas High School coaches.

@MikeABCColumbia: #Clemson Offensive Coordinator Chad Morris just confirmed he has been in talks with SMU to be their HC, but nothing has been finalized.
