Working on it. Right now, University crew is scheduled to be at "Festival of Lights" and can't stream us, but we are working on it. At minimum, we will film and upload to our YouTube channel tomorrow afterwards.

I sent out a media advisory at 2:45 today and got replies... Since it came from me, you better check your Junk Mail

I'm sorry, but that is bulsh. if we're going to act like the big boys, and want to be like the big boys, we need to perform like it. streaming online doesn't take an act of god, it takes a 20 year old (really prob a 15 y/o) w/ moderate knowledge of the internet. if we're going to claim that we're re-seating Moody b/c that's how KU/UK/Duke/etc do it b/c we're going to 'act as if' we are a P5, if we're going to spend the $ on LB and Morris, to try to get to P5 level (let's be honest, this move isn't to stay in the AAC - it's to prove we should be the next to be called up), stream the presser. you guys want our money, as is shown by the changes in MC donations not cross counting to all sports, get with the program on ALL fronts. frankly, what do YOU, SID, think is more important? streaming the press conference of what is most likely the most important hire in the history of our program, or the festival of lights? *steps down from soapbox.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Please tell me we aren't announcing the supposed break from the past 20+ years of mediocrity without even having the ability to live-stream it?!? It's called optics people...do the simple things well every time, the first time. This better be a professional event in every sense of the word. The fans who have stood behind the program during the past 20+ years deserve this, the program deserves this, and our new coach deserves this. Would you rather let potential recruits know to log-in at 1500 CST tomorrow and see how this program is going to grow and why it is the right place for them...or just tell them we couldn't get the AV cart into the room because the extension cord was too short so please watch the 11 o'clock news?!?

No personal offense intended here, but how do you still have a job? Are your other staff busy researching the number of sacks Sanders has for Denver? Maybe they are reading up on how to use the video equipment at the stadium. This answer is offensive to anyone who has put more than 5% worth of effort into anything...ever.

Hey...he did say they are working on it. Give them some time...then [deleted].
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I'll take the youtube archive. As long as it's recorded somewhere.

Just unbelievable. It's the same [deleted] every year, and we're making one of the biggest hires in program history and it might not be streamed live because of a bunch of [deleted] Christmas trees. I swear, some people in the SMU administration have their heads so far up their asses it's laughable

It's at 3 p.m., not 3 a.m. Important news conference aside, who wants to look at lights in the daytime. Aren't lights more of a, you know, nighttime thing?
And BTW, why is the signing event conflicting with another "major" event on campus?
