It is unacceptable. We need a good crowd for Wyoming!

^Obey, right on. The correct response to a fan getting kicked out (not being racist/vulgar) is to get extra rowdy. Hope this fires up the MOB, but based on tonight's showing they will shrug their shoulders and stare blankly at their phones.

They did kick out the student body president so there's a better chance than normal this will be heard at higher levels.

Actually, on 8/21/14, SMU Athletics emailed a letter from Aresco dated 8/1/14. Aresco's letter states: "Profanity, racial or ethnic comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition."

They announce that stuff at every athletic event. I am certain none of those boundaries were crossed.

This is just SMU being SMU - and they want to triple our ticket prices for this.

A while back someone posted a letter sent to Duke students by the school president, Diamond_M maybe? Anyway, the letter was awesome. Basically telling the students to be loud using their smarts, not vulgarity. Now Duke students are famous for their creative chants and heckling. It'd be great if the MOB followed suit.

Aresco's letter went on to state " The American and its member institutions appreciate the support of fans who seek to create a welcoming atmosphere for participating student-atheletes and guests who visit member institutions."

Who knew SMU would take this to heart.

Based on hearing Crab and Luigi before, I doubt they crossed the line tonight. If UConn, Cincy, Louisville and Memphis can take it, surely Monmouth can.

The three no-no's:

1) ethnic insults/slurs
2) threatening comments/actions
3) throwing things

All else is fair game (though some other actions are unnecessary). If we allowed any fan to be ejected for anything not on the list above, SMU should be embarrassed.
