Found these on scout.com:

Josh Edge
Ht: 6-4.5 Wt: 186 40: 5.08
Position: QB
High School: Lytle (Texas) HS
Scout.com Player Evaluation:
STRENGTHS
Intangibles, Pocket Awareness, Touch
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Accuracy / Consistency, Technique

Edge has a strong arm, is pretty accurate, moves well enough (5.0 40-speed) and stands 6-4.5. The best quality he brings to the table can be seen on his film, and that's the ability, when under fire, to deliver a strike (whether moving left or right, under heavy duress, or off of his back foot).

Biography:
2005 - High School Football:
2005 JR Season Stats/Notes: Josh Edge is from a small-school but that hasn't stopped him from jumping in with the big boys and competing for a D-I ship. He has a solid arm, and can put the ball on the money with the consistency you're looking for. He could stand to improve in his accuracy a bit more, however, but he is definitely solid in that department. He moves well enough (5.0 forty speed) and offers the height you'd like to have (6-4.5). Perhaps the best tool he brings to the shop can be seen on his film, and that's the ability, when under fire, to deliver a strike (whether throwing off of his back foot, moving left or right, or with someone bearing down).

Combine Results:
Location: Waco
Height: 6-4.5
Weight: 186
40-Yard Dash: 5.08
Short Shuttle: 4.29
Vertical Jump: 30.0"
3-Cone: 7.82
Broad Jump: 8-2

Schools of Interest:
Houston (camp), Kansas State, Oklahoma State (camp), Purdue (camp), SMU (camp), UTEP (camp)
No offers reported. Claims medium interest in each school.

--------------------

Mossis Madu
Ht: 6-0 Wt: 190 40: 4.5
Position: RB, WR
High School: Norman (Okla.) HS

Biography:
2005 - High School Football:
Scouts in Oklahoma standout tailback from Norman have compared his style to former OU great and NFL stud running back Joe Washington and current Texas running back Jamaal Charles. Scouts suggest this kid has excellent vision, can cut it back, cut on a dime and cut without losing speed.

Coach's Comments: "He's the best back in the state of Oklahoma, makes good grades, and the colleges are coming after him."

Schools of Interest:
Nebraska, Oklahoma (offer), SMU, UCLA (offer)
Claims medium interest in each

--------------------

Jesse Trejo
Ht: 6-2 Wt: 285 40: 5.0
Position: OL, DT
High School: Baytown (Lee), Texas
Biography:
2005 - High School Football:
Trejo will be a three-year varsity starter in 2005. He was named all-district in '04 as an offensive lineman. Could play center, guard or defensive tackle at the next level.

Schools of Interest:
Iowa, Iowa State, Northwestern, SMU, TCU, Tulane
Reports no offers. Claims medium interest in each school.

Any more info on Jesse? Shuttle time, Bench, Vert. jump.

The QB sounds slow but I confess I am not up on QB speeds.

I guess that if he stands and throws - who needs to be fast. If you are always running for your life, speed would help.

We will see. I guess we also have a spot for a JUCO QB. Mayby we go that direction.

So why have we not offered Mossis Madu if he has a interest in us. More red tape perhaps!

probably because we so far down the list on him they we aren't on his radar. With offers from OU and UCLA I seriously doubt we are involved. There are weekly updates on Madu on Rivals he he never mentions SMU. The report is from the Scout(Insiders) which quite frankly I dropped because the information on there is so dated that it is irrelevant. If anybody has an update on Madu in which he actually shows interest in us within the last 2 months then I stand corrected. And a QB that runs a 5.1 isn't a Division 1A prospect. A 6-2 lineman whose height in unverified is probably 6-0 and a sleeper. Note there is no info about combine results.

Then how did Tom Brady get a scholarship to Michigan with his 5.25 time in the 40 (that's what HE said is the fastest he's ever run)?
You've followed this stuff a long time, Stallion. You know there's sometimes a lot more to a player than height, weight and 40 time. Not always, but sometimes.

I think the fact you think he runs a 5.25 tells me everything I need to know about your knowledge of recruiting.

Don't throw stones, Stallion. I've seen the same interview where Brady himself said it (and just shrugged when Mel Kiper teased him about it). Brady's very adept at at sliding away from pressure, stepping up into the pocket, etc., but in a straight sprint, he's slooooooooow. He's a hell of a quarterback (there's a newsflash, huh?), but a sprinter he's not.

its simply not true-have you ever heard of self deprecating humor. For example 83 QBs have VERIFIED times at Texas Rivals combines. All but one had VERIFIED times under 5.21. Only about 7 ran over 5.00-none of them except a kid who barely missed at 5.01 have receivred Division 1A offers-most were alot closer to 5.00 than 5.25. The only kid that ran slower than 5.25 was a 5-9, 210 QB-and with 83 possibilities its more likely he probably pulled a hamstring or something. There is no way in hell that Brady runs anything like a 5.25 Forty.

sorry to burst your bubble but it took me about 2 minutes to find at least one NFL Draft combine where he ran a 4.99.

Look, there's not enough money in the world to make me care whether or not you believe me. All I know is I saw an interview in which Brady said, clear as day, that he was surprised he got the Michigan scholarship, because the fastest he'd ever clocked in the 40 was a 5.25. If you check, my post referred to him getting a scholarship, not getting drafted. Maybe Michigan's version of Coach Faucette helped him speed up to that sizzling 4.99 .... which, by NFL standards AND Div. I-A standards, is slow. Whether he ran a 5.25 or a 4.99, he isn't outrunning anyone this side of Ted Washington. All you did was underscore my statement about how it takes more than a 40 time to make a player. There are plenty of track stars who can't play football. Remember Renaldo Nehimiah?

And finally: Tom Brady and his recruitment by Michigan and his drafting by the Patriots has nothing to do with SMU. So I'm done on this subject. If rivals "verifies" that, maybe you'll believe that, too.

your naivete to think that Michigan gives scholarships to QBs that run 5.25 Forties is stunning.

Stallion, You are right. Brady downplayed his 40 time. These people are wearing rose colored glasses. They like to emphsize the exception, but that is a losers mentality. This attitude is why SMU has been a LOSER for the last 20 years. I like the standard bull [deleted] about " nobody recruited Chris Bordano". LOSER mentality.

As a rule, nobody gives out scholarships based solely on a 40 time, unless it's in the 4.3 range. And few programs ever give scholarships to guys that slow .... unless their coaches recognize that he happens to be a terrific football player.
Agree to disagree and get on with life, huh?
