Morris will be calling the plays right? So the guy will be a glorified QBs coach (Morris will also have a huge hand in QB development as well). Think of this guy as Dan Morrison except a lot younger and he'll actually recruit.

Although Craddock was a GA, he was very highly thought after from a Clemson perspective. He is bright, young and hungry, and he will recruit his rear end off. I am surprised The Chad made him the OC, but like others have said, Morris will be running that show, just like Malzahn does at Auburn.
I know a lot of people wanted Jeff Scott, but that was never going to happen IMO. Our recruits have known for 2 years that Jeff Scott was being groomed to be Morris's replacement, and Jeff Scott is the main reason we have recruited as well as we have. Clemson would have paid whatever it took to make sure he did not leave. Also does not hurt that he played here, his wife went to Clemson, and his dad has an administrative role at Clemson.
However, Chad is going to bring a lot of guys who know his offense, his terminology, etc. with him. That way, he does not have to teach them his system. They know what he looks for, and what they need to run the show. This will allow the offense to really hit the ground running once spring ball starts.
Best of luck to you guys, as we enjoyed our time with The Chad as OC. Also, by stock in Red Bull, because he will personally keep them in business.
