Day 1 and we are already talking about high end talent. Such a refreshing change. RIP DIRs.

Imagine if we got him that he would reshirt next year to fully recover.

Don't we want to target someone who can come in and compete right away?

next year is a lost cause thanks to your boy Sheldon. Chad's got a major rebuilding project on his hands. Excuse me, Mr. Head Coach Chadwick P. Morris, has a major rebuilding project on his hands.

I really think he will get a lot of the players he needs and surprise us next fall. A major rebuild- yes, miracles-no, but he will have us competitive and playing 'balls to the wall' and we will shock a few teams next year.

Don't we want to target multiple QBs?

Quick recruiting question:

If this kid does graduate early and enrolls at SMU in January, doesn't he count against last February's recruiting class? I don't know where we are on scholarships, can anyone fill me in?

Do not know the answer to the back counting but we have plenty of scholarships. This year we have 25 minus any commits that Morris wants to keep.

Yeah, I was thinking frosh and JUCO and then you target the big name QB next year. But I think we want everyone coming in now to compete next year...

Would Morris really pass on a kid this talented just because he won't be able to compete for the job next year?
