One suspects he has been planning for this moment (not SMU specific, but HC) for 2+ years now.

It shows and we are going to benefit from it.
Actually I think he has been planning for over a year. They were talking last year but between his daughter in HS and the buyout it did not work. I assume they just picked up where they left off last year and did the deal.
