Corby: Morris a Fantastic Hire

Postby Stallion » Tue Dec 02, 2014 7:19 pm

I never understand why you guys think he is not complimentary of SMU, the Boulevard and SMU Basketball-and Football when deserved . I forgot his exact words but he was gushing about what Morris was doing and adding Mathis. He said he thought Morris would wait to see if a big offer came around-then mentioned openings at Michigan, Florida etc. He thinks Morris is a P5 Level Coach. I actually think he follows College Football more than just about any media commentator in Dallas and I'm right there will most all his opinions during his weekly college football segments. Most of these guys don't even attend college games-its in his blood and he's roadtripping every other week to some game. He's a good guy to have on our side because he reaches the type of fans we need. Positive all the way around.

Agree. He is underrated.

I find Corby's persona a little grating, but I think you're right on all counts.

He's one of my preferred Ticket guys. If Chad can woo him, we are set. Corby gushed all over Larry Brown.

He is the "Ticket's College Football Blowhard" and in a good way. His brief talks with Bill Parcels
were always fun.

Still find it amusing
that he is TCU graduate but is still a much bigger OU fan.
Beat the hell out of anybody!

Yeah, it's only the most successful and profitable sports talk station in the country - underachievers.

Bud light is the most successful and profitable beer in the country - I guess you must love it based on your logic about radio stations. Just because a lot of people like something does not mean a lot of people do not think it sucks.
