I do not understand why this is so difficult... "We have a current practice field?" ""Yes" "We want another one like it but indoors?" "Yes" "Where to put it so it does not effect other sports... hmmm"

That's actually a great idea. Meadows doesn't match campus at all

Couchem can you make a overhead view and put an IPF replica there to see if it will fit like you did for the soccer field?

Remember - Title IX..... women's swimming off campus, equestrian off campus, women's golf off campus, legal argument - eliminate the track facility which is for women's track!might be a violation of Title IX. Note RGT's comments in DMN very legalistic which activated my radar.

Simple. The school wants to move all the fraternities off SMU Blvd. Move them and build the IPF on the IM field.

I'm sure the women track team wouldn't care if they had a nice indoor track around an ipf football field instead of a 25 year old outdoor track.

Westcott will move to Pettus' current location. Then the IPF and an additional outside practice field will be side by side where Westcott is currently, only perpendicular and taking up half the current freshman parking lot. Women's track will also be indoors. There is also still a plan to have a practice field next to the Bush just north of the old bank at mock at 75.

I say we tear down Dallas Hall and put up a Colossus of Rhodes in the form of June Sheldon Jones.

Here you go. I pulled out the Manning Center from Ole Miss' campus at the 200 ft view on Google Maps and added it in to the same zoom level next to Ford Stadium. It looks like the approximately 150,000sqft Manning Center would fit just fine.

That roof is audacious thus we cannot ever have an IPF

Yeah you could probably fit one but there are going to be municipal construction building codes, requirements and setbacks etc that you are going to have to comply with

Why not build it where the intramural fields are? Or why not move Westcott to where the intramural fields are, and build the IPF in Westcott site?
