can't see the home side, but I'm guessing this could be less than 8,000

The attendance will happen when the team starts to win again. So why dont we focus on that excellent fourth down call and TD. And try to get a defensive stop right here.

what is with the play calling? No running and throwing everything downfield.
Romo - INT! ECU with excellent field position

I was hoping for some more fans in the seats today. I understand that when SMU starts winning more people will show up to watch but give me a break. Where was everyone today at Bachman Lake?

10K at Opening Day at Rice yesterday. Bad, but they're not wasting time thinking about it--
they're promoting their 0-5 FB team with the following:
http://riceowls.collegesports.com/
When you go to their FB page on the athletic website you see the promotion tying the Navy game to donations from tickets sales to the "Patriot Fund".
Marketing 101- know your customer. With an 0-5 record, this week's customer is probably NOT the undecided Owl fan. Wrap Owl FB in red, white & blue.
Of course, knowing SMU 'PC' culture, we would play ARMY @ Ford on the same day of the campus wide Islamic conference on peace at Moody.

Official NCAA bound attendance figures were 11,715. My 12,000 visual
estimate wins, and I"m really pretty good estimating attendance figures.
Might even take up the crowd estimating profession.
I'm sure Stallion is demanding a recount.
