Absolutely! The Fort Bend and Alief ISD schools have some decent talent. Hopefully we can get some of the staff down this way (and maybe recruit Katy as well - we see very few recruiters for all the playoff success the program has had).

This kid says that even though he has committed, he is keeping his options open.
"There is so much that sets Rice apart from other schools, but if there is one thing I love the most, it's the fact that Rice is able to boast about their amazing athletic program, and also their academics," the talented offensive tackle said. "Every school I got offers from kept telling me about how many games they won, how great the conference they're in is, etc., etc. but I never heard anything about graduation/retention rates, student success in balancing academics and football, and things like that. But only Rice was able to draw me in with their amazing academic prowess. And it's not like they were bluffing about it either, when we visited, the academic culture truly shined through every nook and cranny of the school."
While the Owls definitely won a huge battle in securing Awolope's pledge, it looks like their work isn't quite done. Now comes the hard part of retaining his commitment and the talented Fort Bend Marshall product intends on keeping an open door in his recruitment.
"I think I'm pretty solid, but I still do plan on taking a few visits, attending some camps, and a little more," he said. "I still see myself as open game to any school, but most of my interest is in Rice."
I brought up Awolope when he committed to Rice. He looks like a fantastic prospect lthough he might be 2 years away. I was impressed with his video. He's very articulate too-bet he's a good student
