Hmm. This is a little bit of a disturbing statement.

We all need to get behind this momentum and PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE. #LockArms.

I'm all for promotion and locking arms but sh1tting on other schools does nothing for us.

It' a competitive world. Yes, we are better than Baylor. My opinion. Best place for him is here. Again, my opinion.

Several years ago, Sports Illustrated did a long article about the rise of the S&C coach with all the rules the NCAA puts on other coaches, but I cannot seem to easily find it.

are you thinking of this article? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2110 ... r-heard-of

That starts with workouts. Of all the hires Klieman made, none were more important than keeping strength and conditioning coach Jim Kramer.

"He was the No. 1 focal point," Klieman said. "I know Craig was trying to get him at Wyoming, and we were trying to keep him.

"Jim loves it here. He has a great bond with our players. They’re with the strength coach 12 months out of the year."

It was Klieman's biggest recruiting victory. New Washington coach Chris Petersen echoed that sentiment, telling Greg Bishop of Sports Illustrated about the importance of hiring good strength coaches:

They're everything. Finally people are starting to figure out how valuable [strength and conditioning coaches] are. They're starting to get paid better. I mean, they probably spend, and I don't even think it's a probably, they do spend more time than myself or the assistants with these kids. That was my first hire, and probably my most important.

Kenneth Starr has done a nice job with Baylor, but it is still the worst private school in the state. they have come up from where they were in the last five years though.

talk about a lucky break with the Big 12 though. Can you imagine that place if they had missed the boat on big 12? - bad enough as it is now.

I'd forgotten about that. Those TCU fans were about the goofiest, lowest most immature fans I have ever seen. Can't imagine anyone doing that. The funniest part, is after being documented as a total tool, the froggie says he is going to call their university president about it. I think the Baylor coaches would get raises for restraining themselves from punching that wussy in the mouth.

We would do the same and I would encourage our fans to do so when we beat BU, TCU or any other old rival with HCCM. #goodjobbig12

I enjoy watching the BU arseholes react as much as the loser fat froggie. Like watching Gerry Springer. #munchingpopcorn.

Kaz is a stud, no doubt. However, if we are going to pony up the kind of $ needed to get him, we should definitely make every effort to bring Vic back first. He's one of the best, and this is home.

Strength coaching is about more than yelling...though yelling certainly seems to help.
