"June is a guy who could come in and do some things offensively," said former OSU quarterback Steve Preece, who remains close to the Beavers' football program.

Texas bites. Baylor sucks. As it was in the beginning, is now, and evermore shall be. Amen.

He also called UNLV:
June Jones told the Review-Journal on Tuesday that he also was interested in UNLV, but whether he made contact with Kunzer-Murphy was uncertain. Attempts to reach Jones on Wednesday were unsuccessful.
Jones went 76-41 from 1999 to 2007 at Hawaii, taking the Warriors to the Sugar Bowl in his final season. From there, he went to Southern Methodist, going 36-43 in nine seasons.
But he took SMU to four consecutive bowls, ending a 25-year postseason drought. Jones resigned two games into this season, citing personal reasons.

They do have black jerseys already. Just replace the Beaver with a wood chipper or something.

With our luck June will get the job, Kyle Kearns will be the second coming of Timmy Chang, and June will have a good run there

Re: June mentioned as candidate for Oregon St job
he would probably be much happier on the west coast anyway since they like that slightly lazy style, and would probably do a better job then here. He just wasn't a happy guy in Texas.
That said, I cant imagine a school with Pac 12 money having to take on June.

Still a beaver just a meaner looking beaver.

Re: June mentioned as candidate for Oregon St job
Perfect example of one of the major problems with information on the internet...any idiot can post whatever they want, no matter how outlandish. I say he couldn't even get a position as an assistant coach at any D1 school, much less a head coaching job.
Re: June mentioned as candidate for Oregon St job
Ridiculous...
