I am still a Beasley fan. I understand his frustration with the school/fans even though I would like to think that his frustration could have been handled differently. Heck, I was frustrated with the fans while I lived in town attending games to see stadiums start very empty and end even more empty.

I know he said he didn't feel like he owed SMU, but it appears that Beasley is re-connecting with the school and current staff. I like it.

That's just Stepp tweeting at bumble hands. Doesn't mean anything other than the staff is trying and they are very VERY aware of his twitter temper tantrum.

That tweet is stepp reaching out to Beasley, not Beasley reconnecting with the staff.

Good point both of you. I had read it as "excited to have met you" in past tense. Still, I can hope.
