The fire Jim Copeland petition was so successful. No, thanks. Internet petitions are worthless. Mike Hunt sings about 500 times. Now a real, handwritten petition, might be maningful, but I it would get results.

If you want to force change, force change. Either (i) don't show up; or (ii) make such a scene they have to make changes just to shut you up.

Pissed about the A&M game? Yes.

Pissed about the Tulane game? Yes.

Losing 24-17 after turning the ball over 5 times, 4 in our territory? Not pissed at the coaches.

24-17 IS competitive. Two years ago or last year, we lose that game by at least 21. The team IS more competitive.

This game falls under the category of "those things are going to happen". I gett as upset as anyone when I think coaches make bad calls and bad decisions. But this game isn't on them. The only big mistake that they made was to give Romo a little more liscense to throw the ball after last week, but then again, after last week, who wouldn't have...

I have to disagree...fumbles = mental errors = a lack of discipline = poor coaching; Romo's telegraphing his passes are partly attributable to poor coaching; calling plays that put you in a position to throw your 4th interception are attributable to coaching.

This one's not ALL on the coaches, but good coaching can eliminate these types of errors. Good coaching prevents 4 interceptions.

I don't know about that BR. Whether you like him or not, Bill Parcells is known for discipline and fundamentals. Is it his fault that Dallas had 4 turnovers yesterday? They sure seemed to be disciplined against Philly the week before. Same with SMU, last week we didnt turn it over and made UAB do it. Does that mean last week Bennett was a good coach but this week he forgot? Nah.

I didnt love the play calling on Sat, but my impression is that Romo got overconfident this week and lost the edge that got him playing better the previous weeks. Maybe overconfident is the wrong word, I think all the leadership hype in the press got him thinking he had to make plays himself and win the game.

In 4Q, ECU played tighter pass coverage than anyone else in '05.

It's a good arguement but regardless, it was a winnable game.

Don't get me wrong, the interceptions fall squarely on Romo. And, yes, I believe he got a little reckless with his throws, perhaps out of overconfidence from UAB. But on two of those interceptions, the defense saw it coming the whole time. Romo couldn't take his eyes off his receiver, and I just have to believe a good QB coach drills into the QBs head that that is passing mistake numero uno.

And you're right, turnovers can happen to good coaches. But if this were the first game where turnovers cost us the game, I might be more willing to absolve the coaches. But it's always one thing or another with them, and they just can't seem to overcome the mental errors.

Yeah right

I'm pretty sure 3 of those interceptions came during panic time in the last
4 minutes of the game when we were going for the tie to put it in OT. A
QB's that's started about 6 ncaa div 1a games is gonna do that (PANIC)
sometimes. Especially, after he was part of the HERO Tandem the
week before.
