The Killen Offense? We Need It!

Postby shadowman » Fri Dec 05, 2014 10:07 pm

Remember back in the day when SMU had moderate success of dribbling around the perimeter and then just saying eff it and let Killen launch a three? I would be very ok if Nic Moore would drive, look for a tear drop, try and dish to a big for a dunk and if that was not open, pull it back out and let Nic take the best shot he can get.

Seriously, if Nic is on the floor and a dunk or layup is not available, I want Nic to take the shot, whether it is contested or not. No one else should be shooting from outside the paint other than Nic.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

We have no other 'shooters' on this team,so let Nic do it as often as he likes.

I endorse this plan.

And for a few pair of SMU practice shorts, I will be happy teach the squad

Killen was able to create his own shot a bit better than Nic. Not taking anything away from Nic, but his size hurts him on the perimeter when he is trying to create for himself
