When Baylor and TCU scheduled SMU, they weren't thinking they might be in the hunt for the national championship playoff...they were thinking about making sure they were bowl eligible. I'm not sure they both drop us, but if they do, we at least have a long term series lined up with UNT and could always try to get Tex Tech or Okie State back on the schedule to assure some well attended games

They're already calling for us to be dropped on KillerFrogs.

Baylor and TCU have more issues than SMU in their OCS ... two years ago and, that was not an argument. Baylor has and continues to fill their OCS with penciled in W's ... (Samford, SHSU, etc) that is their problem ... not as much for TCU

Having SMU on their schedules didn't kill them.

I don't think TCU and baylor are going to schedule three P5 teams OOC now. But baylor should schedule a P5 opponent for once

Tech and Okie State have games in DFW every other season (TCU) so they're not likely to be interested in playing us anywhere but at their own stadiums.

Like a lot of teams when these schedules are made 3-5 years out, SMU will look vastly different in 2-3 years.

Herbstriet brought up SMU on their schedules just to make his point that his beloved buckeyes should be in. I think Baylor drops us, but not TCU.

Tech also has the game against Baylor in the Cowboys Stadium

Can we get a billboard up in FW and Waco with a picture of JJ saying "You're welcome"?

We were not a boost to their schedule this year, but both played FCS teams as well.
