The American Bowls

Postby DanFreibergerForHeisman » Sun Dec 07, 2014 8:10 pm

The American teams have some really nice bowls and some great opponents:

Memphis vs. BYU in the Miami Beach Bowl - great matchup!

UCF vs. North Carolina State - Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl - this one used to be Beef O Bodden I think - good opponent

Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech - Military Bowl - big game, would be a great win for The American

Houston vs. Pittsburgh - Armed Forces Bowl - interesting game

East Carolina vs. Florida - Birmingham Bowl - yes, Florida - talk about a great chance for The American to make a statement!

We will make some noise if we go 5-0.

We need another bowl tie-in. Temple at 6-6 is staying home for the holidays.

I understand what your saying but AAC football, other than SMU does not do it for me. The four teams you mentioned above are not very good. It just does not hold my interest.

If we go 5-0 or 4-1, it will look really good against those teams.

I always thought despite the criticism that the AAC put together a pretty good bowl lineup with opportunities to play P5 programs in desirable locations better than it could have been

I agree.

I would love to be in one of those this season.
