Interesting comments. Warren Burger went to something like the Minneapolis School of Law and I don't think he was first in his class. I do wonder in all seriousness which closet Harriett Meiers is from, the right one or the left one on social issues such as abortion. The reason that the right is so nervous on this one is that they smell another David Souter or even a Sandra Day O'Connor. They fear that Bush despite all his talk does not really want to be the President who appointed the justice that was the deciding vote to end Roe v. Wade
Maybe her critics should find out what Miers own LSAT score was or what her IQ score is if that is such an important indicator and base their criticisms on some actual basis. I think the elite students at SMU could probably hold their own elsewhere, even Harvard. Its funny when SMU gets outsnobbed though perception-wise.

Accordnig the DMN, they've asked SMU for her admissions info and transcript, but Turner won't release it without permission.
