We are a top 40 team IMHO. Beat Arky and Michigan and we are top 25. Could very well lose to both and if that happens, the only way we make the tourney is by winning the AAC IMHO. Sad that our season could sort of be "over" before AAC play. REALLY need to beat Arky. Then Michigan. Almost have to beat Michigan more than Arky. Based on last year, the tourney cmte wants strong SOS and no "bad losses". Losing to Arky wouldn't be "bad" and beating Michigan AT Michigan would impress. But we can't drop any to "lesser" conference foes and I could see that happen like AT Houston or, say, Tulsa.

Losing to Indy was really bad.

Anyway, beat the Hogs!

How are we going to beat Arky and Mich without JMart and MK? Going to be very tough. We are a bunch of toothpicks now.

It is interesting to track but the RPI means very little right now. For example, Green Bay is currently #1 in the RPI ahead of #2 Kentucky and #3 Duke. Green Bay is good mid-major but I doubt even a top 40 team.

FWIW, right now UCSB is 49 and SMU is 51.

Michigan fell out of the top 25 to the middle of the pack in receiving votes, about 35th. They play #3 Arizona Saturday. If they win that game they'll probably jump back in the top 25.
