I was doing some research a few years back - trying to find proof of the Fordham ram's death by Peruna. I couldn't find anything, but paid for this download from the New York Times in 1934. He mourned Peruna's death.

The original Peruna weighed a mere 150 pounds and appears to have been quite a bit shorter and stockier than the modern day version.

Yeah - I am having a hard time imaging a 28-inch tall horse!

I was familiar with the history of Peruna but I did not know the school keeps them at an undisclosed location
